Celebration at Brandsøy

Our wedding is to be celebrated at the premises of an gardener school in Brandsøy. It has a nice park area, and we keep our fingers crossed for nice weather. In case we have to be indoor, that is no problem. There is a farm house-like building where dinner will be served.

Places to stay

Florø is a small town on the west coast of Norway. Approximately 10.000 inhabitants live and work here. Still, there are quite some nice places to sleep during your stay here.

Florø Rorbuer (picture to the left) consists of 15 appartements, situated close to the seaside, and only a 15 minutes walk from the centre. The price for one appartement is between NOK 600-800, depending on the size and number of beds.

Krokane camping is only a short walk away. They offer some nice cabins.

There are two hotels in Florø: Quality Hotell, a maritime hotel situated by the seaside in the middel of the town (picture).

Victoria Hotell is also centrally situated.

A cheaper alternative is Florø hotell - a motel. This is close to Linda's parent's house, and a 15 minutes walk from the centre of Florø.

Friday: Boat trip

Some of you will travel a long way for our wedding. Hopefully, as many of you as possible will stay in Florø the entire weekend.

We will start the celebration Friday afternoon. The steam boat Atløy will then take us for a trip around the coast.

Crabs and prawns will be served on board, and the bar is open. Be at Kolkaia in the centre of Florø at 7 pm .

Sunday: Brunch in Breivika

Arnhild and Svein (Linda's parents) invite you all to Sunday Brunch in Breivika.

They promise some nice and traditional norwegian dishes. Hopefully the weather is nice, so you'll be able to spend some hours in our comfortable garden.


The address is Breivikvegen 4, and it takes about 15 minutes to walk from the centre of Florø (map below).
